美国凯迪克大奖历年获奖作品（未完待续…）
今天看到Google的Doodle纪念的是美国著名儿童文学图画书作家莫里斯·伯纳德·桑达克，得知他就是绘本《野兽出没的地方》的作者。Wiki上一查，他曾经五度获得凯迪克奖，同时也是第一位获得国际安徒生插画大奖的美国人。而他的代表作品《野兽出没的地方》则获得了1964年的凯迪克金奖。
虽然大家平常给小孩看绘本，但可能对绘本届的凯迪克大奖不是非常了解，在这里为大家整理了一些资料，供大家了解：
凯迪克大奖在美国已有50年以上的历史。它是为了纪念19世纪英国最大的绘本画家伦道夫·凯迪克(Randolph Caldecott 1846～1886)而设立。每年由美国图书馆协会与受邀的评审委员会，从当年出版的数万本书籍中，选出1名首奖和2～3名杰作，颁赠凯迪克金牌奖和银牌奖。凡是得奖作品，封面上都贴有Caldecott先生的著名插画“骑马的约翰”奖牌贴纸，金色为首奖，银色为杰作。凯迪克大奖代表童书界的至高荣誉，可谓图画书的“奥斯卡”奖。
迪克奖是美国最具权威的儿童图书奖，主要在于评选标准的周延与创新——它着重作品的艺术价值和特殊创意，尤其重视作品是否富有“寓教于乐”的功能，希望让儿童在阅读的游戏里开发另一个思考空间。
出版商会将在获奖图书的封面贴上印有凯迪克著名插画“骑马的约翰”的金、银奖牌，绚丽耀眼，代表着儿童文学史上的不朽巨星。?
凯迪克奖遴选标准：
* 何谓一本杰出的儿童图画书？ 评审团必须考虑：是否使用优秀的艺术技巧？图画是否能巧妙完整呈现出此书的故事、主题或概念？图画的风格是否非常适合此书的故事、主题或概念？透过图画，是否能完整传递出书中的故事情节、角色、气氛与讯息？
评审团必须以儿童的理解力为前提，考虑该书是否有杰出的表现。
* 参选的书籍，其型式除了必须是适用于图画书的同时，还必须为独立的个体，不需靠别的媒体呈现其趣味（例如播放声音或影片的设备）。
* 每一本参选的书都被视为一本儿童图画书。评审团评选的重点主要在于该书的插图，但是当这本书其它构成部份十分杰出时，这些部份（如文本、书籍整体设计等）也会被列入考虑。
