守株待兔

一天,一个农夫在地里干活儿,看见一只兔子撞在了大树上,晕了过去。农夫捡起兔子,拿到集市上卖了些钱,他高兴极了。农夫就想:如果每天都能捡到一只兔子,就不用在田里干活了,这是一件多么美好的事情啊!于是,农夫再也不种田了,他每天都在大树下等兔子,可是,兔子再也没有来过。
One day, a farmer was working in the field, he saw a rabbit hit the big tree and the rabbit was faint. The farmer picked up the rabbit and sold it in the market. He felt very happy. Then he thought that if he could pick up a rabbit every day, he wouldn’t work in the field any more. What a wonderful thing it is! Then the farmer never farmed again, he waited for the rabbit under that tree every day, but the rabbit never came again.
